We offer free training for teachers on keeping students safe on the job. See below for training dates.
Workshops are available forLinked Learning, CTE, Career Pathway Academy, WorkAbility and other work-based learning professional programs.

- Learn how to teach students to think critically about health and safety on the job in today’s economy. You will learn to help your students identify and correct workplace hazards using fun, participatory activities from the Youth @ Work: Talking Safety curriculum available from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NOCTI badge available).
- Participants will learn about resources to support safe student job placement in the community.
All work-based learning programs in California are required to address workplace safety, including CTE pathway courses. The State Superintendent’s Career Ready Initiative, the Anchor Standards in the California CTE Model Curriculum Standards, and the Eleven Elements of High-Quality Work-Based Learning (AB2211) all direct teachers to cover this topic.
